Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the https://goldstardoodles.com website operated by Gold Star Doodles (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By adopting a puppy from us, and/or accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not adopt a puppy or otherwise access the Service.


Purchases

If you wish to purchase any puppy, product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your:

  • Email Address
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Physical Address
  • Phone Number
  • Billing Information

Puppy Terms of Service

Adoption Agreement

By placing a deposit on a puppy, you ("The Buyer") understand the balance of the puppy purchase price is due by cash or check at the time of pickup. The puppy must be a minimum of eight weeks old and the purchase price paid in full/ verified before your puppy is released to go to it's new home.

While your deposit is non-refundable, if the occasion should arise that your reserved puppy should become unavailable for any reason, you will have the choice to pick another available puppy, use your deposit on a future litter, or have it promptly refunded.


The Owner's Responsibility

The owner agrees to take good care of the purchased puppy, housing and feeding it properly, maintaining shots, de-worming and providing the proper physical and emotional care it needs. The owner also assumes all responsibility for any accidents or injuries caused by misbehavior of the dog, after it is in the owner's possession. The death, injury, or loss of the dog, due to theft, carelessness, recklessness, abuse, neglect, heat stroke, or accident will not entitle the owner to any compensation from the breeder. 

In addition, after the puppy leaves the care of Gold Star Doodles, the owner assumes full responsibility for all legal liabilities, and/or financial obligations, including vet visits and any additional shots/medical treatments needed.


Refund Policy

Gold Star Doodles does not offer refunds on puppy deposits, except in the instance the chosen puppy becomes unavailable for any reason. In that case, the purchaser will be given the option of choosing another available puppy, or receiving a full refund of the original deposit amount.

All refunds or replacements of adopted puppies, will be handled as set forth in our Adoption Agreement and Health Guarantee.

Gold Star Doodles reserves the right to refuse a refund or replacement for any previously purchased puppy if the criteria set forth in the Purchase Agreement and Health Guarantee are not met.


Health Guarantee

We offer a 12 Month Genetic Health Guarantee from Puppy Date of Birth (24 months with the daily use of NuVet Plus Supplements.)


Covered By This Guarantee:

The Breeder guarantees that upon purchase, the puppy is in good health, and has been immunized and wormed according to its accompanying health record. We highly encourage you have your vet examine puppy within three days after you've received it. 

We work hard to ensure the genetic health of our puppies, and in the case your puppy is found to have a genetic disorder, (hip or elbow dysplasia, pathological spinal disorder, Luxating patella, continuing open spine, etc, as diagnosed by licensed veterinarian) within one year of purchase, we will exchange your puppy for one of equal value.

In order to make a claim with this Guarantee, the buyer must provide written proof from a licensed veterinarian. Gold Star Doodles reserves the right to confirm the diagnosis with their own vet.

To receive the full 24 months coverage, the owner must feed the puppy NuVet Plus supplements on a daily basis, for the entire 24 month period. 


Not Covered:

This Health Guarantee does not cover common sicknesses, or accidents incurred after the puppy is in your possession. All regular health care maintenance and immunizations are the owner's responsibility. Further, this guarantee is only valid for the purpose of being a companion animal, and does not cover for any other purpose such as breeding, showing, etc.

In the case of a claim, Gold Star Doodles reserves the right to deny any Claims that do not meet the terms of this Health Guarantee at its sole discretion. Additionally, a claim entitles the original owner of the puppy to a replacement puppy of the same or greater value, but does not entitle the owner to a monetary reimbursement.


NuVet

Unless otherwise clearly noted, you will receive, along with your puppy, a sample pack of NuVet Supplements. You are not required to continue purchasing NuVet products, however we recommend it for the best results. With the daily use of NuVet Supplements, we will also extend our Health Guarantee coverage for another year (24 months total from puppy DOB)

As an official NuVet dealer, we receive a small percentage of your NuVet order when you use our dealer code to order.

Pet Health Insurance

We've partnered with Trupanion (trupanion.com) to bring you a complimentary month of Health Insurance for your new pup! This can be especially valuable during the crucial puppyhood months!

After you enjoy your first month on us, you will have the option to sign up for continued coverage, or simply leave it to cancel.

Store Policies

Qualifications

To qualify for a puppy, you must:

A) Have adequate food & water for your pup, & a warm, dry place for sleeping.

B) Have ample room for your pup to run and exercise. 

C) Be committed to the long-term quality care of your dog. 

D) Be financially able to cover the costs associated with dog ownership, including vet bills, training, food, etc.

E) Read and agree to the terms on this Adoption Policies & Health Guarantee Page.


Payment Policy

All puppies/upcoming litters are required to have a deposit to hold them for you, or to lock in your position for choosing. Full payment is expected at or before the time the puppy leaves our home.


Upcoming Litters - Puppy Choosing 

For upcoming litters, choosing your puppy happens in the order we receive the deposits. For instance, if you chose the 2nd male slot, you are 2nd in line to choose from the male puppies born in that litter. Choosing happens once the puppies are 4-6 weeks of age. We will contact you once your turn comes!


Puppy Pickup 

All adopted puppies are due to leave once they are eight weeks of age. You will be notified well in advance, to arrange pickup/shipping options. Gold Star Puppies will, if needed, board your chosen puppy past its eight week due date, at a rate of $100/week.


Availability

We do our best to honor gender and color preferences, but availability is not guaranteed.


Pricing

Pricing is as marked on the website by each puppy/litter. Occasionally, individual puppies within a litter are priced differently, depending on their color/markings. We price our pups based on the current demand, color/markings, and genetics.


Breeding/Show

All our puppies are sold as Pets, unless otherwise expressly noted. All puppies sold as Pets and used for breeding or show purposes, are NOT covered by our Health Guarantee. 


Registration

Our puppies are Not registered unless otherwise noted. You may, at your expense, register them with AKC or CKC designer breed programs for show purposes, but be aware that our Health Guarantee only covers Pets unless special arrangements are made previously.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 (change this) days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
